The downside to using power tools is the vibration and noise. To combat excessive vibrations, some companies like Makita and Hitachi have created lower vibration tools. These tools, while being just as efficient, do not vibrate as much while in use, and the user, as a result, can have a better grip on them. As far as noise levels are concerned, workers should consider hearing protection, as most tools go up to the hearing limit of 85dB and some can go higher.
If you work in an industrial occupation, power tools are used by nearly everyone. Whether it's a saw or a screwdriver, the cut or the hole can be done quicker and cleaner.
